Colts 28 Bears 10. It's Peyton's day as he ensures his future entry into the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Meanwhile Rex Grossman ensures his entry onto the list of crappy Bear QB's alongside guys like Bobby Douglass, Erik Kramer and Cade McNown.

Have the Bears scored 46 points this season combined...? :p

My assessment:
The Colts need to stop the run. The Bears need to establish the run.

The Colts need to protect the ball. The Bears need to get turnovers.

The Colts need to win the special teams battle. The Bears need to win the special teams battle.

Pretty complex stuff, eh? :D

The Bears lost for a number of reasons, and Grossman's suckitude was just one of them. They found out what other teams found out in the playoffs-the Colts are a hard team to run against. Take away Jones' 50 yd run in the first qtr. and a bunch of runs against a prevent D and the Colts D beat the Bears HARD. The Bears lost because they couldn't stop the run. I've been saying it all year long-the Bears D is good, but it's not great. Tonight they got beat. And the Bears lost because Peyton Manning made WAAAAAAY fewer mistakes Rex Grossman.

Sorry Numberz, but Manning has now won the big game. There's nothing left for you to criticize except his haircut, and I don't think he's gonna care about that. :D

Yup. He was clearly in-bounds the entire way.
Everybody (and by everybody I mean me, my wife, the CBS announcers, and the officials) knows he stayed in bounds on the INT return.

Those CBS announcers were bloody terrible I thought.

As far as the Int TD, It really was too close to call but I thought it looked an awful lot like his foot went out of bounds when the dirt kicked up. It was real close though.

It was definately close, but when they zoomed in on the foot, I could definately see grass between his foot and the white sideline.

It was when he went to lift his foot I thought he may have been nudging the white but it has to be definitive to reverse so I understood why. Though they didn't seem to look at it very long.

This game was there for the taking for Chicago but when your QB plays like that, what else can you expect. Kind of reminded me off RR in the 2002 grey cup.

Where is Pete when I need him? The game went down exactly like I called it...the Bears couldn't control the game with the run, Manning picked apart the Bears D once he got the jitters out of the way, and Grossman started serving up picks when he needed to throw the ball. No big surprise, the Bears were outclassed completely in this game.

My feud with Manning continues, not only his haircut, but that dancing video, the way he plays, the amount of attention he gets, and pretty everything about him.

He didn't deserve MVP, but it didn't matter if he had thrown 7 INTs he'd have won anyway. Rhodes or Addai deserved it more.

Grossman, I hate you, but not as much as I hate Manning, you're the reason why you lost.

Finally, I'd just like to send a big F*CK YOU to Peyton Manning...uh....and just like some people with the Holocaust, I am going to deny that this event ever happened.

Rhodes and Addai were both good, but they cancelled each other out. Manning was great last night, even though you don't necessarily want to admit it. After the pick he was efficient and steady against a pretty good defense.
