I don't care if you cheer for the flames. I don't care if you cheer for the Oilers or the Lightning, for that matter.

But you HAVE to admit that the penalty call leading to the first Tampa goal was absolute BULLSH!T.

Worst call of the series, IMO, next to the missed goal which the ABC feed clearly shows as in.

The penalty on Pratt though to give Calgary the one goal was the worst call I have seen this year. Saprykin or whoever it was was the one who came and hit Pratt who was beside the net. Interference???? on what his path to the side of the net....so brutal.

Will be nice to see thousands of edmontonians breaking their ankles tommorow from jumping off the bandwagon.

The call on Pratt was worse. That is the worst call I have ever seen in my life. He got 2 minutes for racing to the puck and being blindsided...

Personally, I think it's pointless to blame the refs one way or the other. There were obviously bad calls on both sides, but the reason that Calgary lost was because they were outplayed in the first two periods, plain and simple. They did come on strong in the third period, but it wasn't enough to overcome the deficit.

I caught a glimpse of the Pratt penalty, but I had a friend over and wasn't paying 100% attention to the game, so although it did look questionable, I can't comment for sure.

That's the pathetic part. All those bandwagon jumpers will feel like a chick after her first gangbang. It's fun while it lasts but in the end she'll just feel cheap, dirty, and used.

Man I feel sorry for Calagry fans.. After getting the hearts ripped apart last night, they'll have to endure another horrid season of Stampeder football...with no recovery time..

I just hope alot of them don't jump off a bridge and try to end it all :)

Make it 15 points. THis represents, of course, the 15 wins they got in their oh-so-close run to the Stanley Cup.

Either way, a Grey Cup team should not go 0-2 in the pre-season.

Plus, this is Calgary - they are a MESS.

Irs pre season. Score is meaningless..its allways fun and good to beat the hell out of the other team, but its far more important to look at talent that is one play from making the team or being off the team.

Opus
06-09-2004, 01:33 PM
true.........but the talent left at this stage of the game should be close enough talent wise to our starters to get the job done over an inferior team.........otherwise perhaps they should not still be here......

Esks4ever
06-09-2004, 05:01 PM
They should be close enough talent wise to manhandle the stumps.. but the unity isnt there.. so instead of scoring 78 points and stuffing them with our D, we'll only muster 56 points while shutting them down to 17 points..
