watching Sunday night football in Denver, snowing, the fields covered, its beautiful!!! kudos to them for building a new outdoor stadium a few years ago. So many reasons to build an indoor stadium (super bowl). Its great to see.

So this means we won't hear any complaints about the turf at CW come fall time? :D

Other than the heating system, the Esks spend just as much on turf maintenance as the average NFL team, approx 150-220k per year.

The heating system seemed to make a huge difference. The turf was treacherously hard. I think in the next few years the esks should be thinking, Fieldturf or heating system... apologies for starting this debate

Id love to see a heating system rather then fieldturf....It just wouldnt be the same having Commonwealth without grass.

The heating system wouldn't cure all the problems like some think. While it extends the growing cycle, if you get wet snow or rain the day before the game, you're still going to get a slippery surface to play on.
