View Full Version : World's longest game

Once again my friend Dr Brent Saik is trying to break a world record and raise money for cancer research by hosting the world's longest hockey game. Also, Esksfans.com's own "wilkie" is setting an unofficial world record by running a zamboni for approx 240hrs. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Good on you Diesel for bringing this up! Brent is an amazing man - I played in his charity ball tournament for many years...his contributions to Cancer Research in this community are invaluable!!! I hope he exceeds his expectations. :)

Brent lost his dad to cancer about 10 years ago and lost his wife to lymphoma about a year ago, she was 31. He's had to overcome some serious hurdles in his life and remains a great guy (still can't believe I'm sayin this about a guy from vegreville ;) ) Proud to know him.

If thiers any justice, with all the crap going on in the NHL this year, they should seriously give this group of guys the Stanley Cup for a week after what they accomplished. True heros.

Driving home today, the news report on the team 1260 reported that a whole bunch of stuff that was for donations got ROBBED.

What type of freakin lowlife steals sh*t that's being donated to fight cancer :soap:

It was reported that Dr. Saik would cover the costs out of his own pocket...
geez, this is his thanks for trying to do a good deed...I feel sorry for the guy.
