Looks like the Vikings are serious about improving their defence this off-season. Besides adding a pretty good LB in Napoleon Harris in the Randy Moss trade, they have added FA's Pat Williams (DT) from Buffalo, Fred Smoot (CB) from Washington, and now have signed ex-Packer FS Darren Sharper. All of whom are considered to be among the best FA's at their position. Add to this that they are apparantly still the front-runner in signing WR Plaxico Burris and it looks like maybe the Vikings are serious about spending some money and trying to do some damage in the NFC North.
The question I have however, is are they building through Free Agency or will they be the next Washington Redskins who spend truckloads of money on free agents only to miss the playoffs yet again?

But at least they are giving me hope for next season.
