Weird. I was watching the Texas Tech/Gonzaga game when they were talking about the 12th seeds usually being the ones to advance because they are just as good as the 4th or 5th seed.

all I've really got left is Illnois/Arizona and the hope Louisville goes to the final.

Nope, sorry. :( This is the first year I've taken more than a passing interest in March Madness...with no NHL, I've had to find other things to fill my time.

Found it: Connecticut and Duke in 1999 were the last two #1 seeds to meet in the title game. Connecticut won 77-74.
