I'll be honest the sole purpose of this poll for my v-bookie events

I needs to know what teams people like so that I can create v-bookie events arounds teams & games people will drop their v-cash on.

I mean with Angelus taking care of all the CFL games and basketball/hockey coming to an end, I'm trying to avoid a work stoppage of sorts

I'm not gonna list all the teams, so if a team you like isn't on the list tell me who it is...ask GF2 and E4L from my basketball v-events, I'm quite encouragable as the teams I choose for my v-events.

Even if you're not a gambling person, I'd still like to know who you keep an eye on.

As for the Jays...they need a small miracle from Vernon Wells and a bigger miracle from the ass-end of their rotation to finish 3rd in that AL East.

I like the White Sox but if I had to choose from that list it would be the Jays.

Like he said, the Doc is very accommodating as to creating vBookie events around people's teams.

I like Boston and Minnesota out of those teams, but I'll go for the Jays, Mariners, A's, D-Backs or Cubs, if there's no one else playing.

Old Jack Murphy was a decent stadium.....went to a game there when I was like 11 on the 4th of July ....Pretty Sweet!

Texas Rangers.

Used to go to every home game int he summer times during my mid to late teens.

The old stadium was a minro league park in terms of crowd capacity and outfield measurements..

The new Ball Park is beautiful.. My favorite of all the new parks in the majors..

Hope the Rangers can fianlly do something this year.. I was elated when they fianlly unloaded A-Rod's cumbersome contract a couple of years ago..

IMO Soriano is the best second baseman in baseball.

Are you from the Dallas area Jed??

Texas looks to have a good team this year, and in the future. A lot of nice young talent!!!

I'm the only Nationals fan here so far? Well, that's just great...If Montreal wanted a baseball team, they would have gone to more games instead of just the last one ever. I'm happy that they went to a city that's going to support them a bit more, and end this Montreal/Puerto Rico nonsense, because I think it's been holding them back.

I don't even care that they suck...they're lovable losers and my undying support will someday be rewarded with a World Series win!

Hey, I can dream, can't I? :sigh:

there is more to the history of the fans staying away from the Expos......

they drew very well in 93 & 94.......the lockout was the straw that broke that franchise....

Yeah, that would've been 3 straight years that Canadian teams won the series.

Oh no, we couldn't have that, could we?

Cleveland Indians

My brother, a Cubs fan, and I have had a standing bet since the mid-70's. Whoever's favourite team wins the World Series first gets $1000 from the other guy. Right now it seems like the this wager may outlive the both of us.

I've always cheered for the Expos too and will continue to do so now that they've finally moved.

oakland athletics. It will be a tough season after trading Hudson and Mulder.

Not terribly, the kids they got in exchange have the potential to be as good as the Big Two, Harden and Zito are still around, and the bullpen got help from the trades too. I wouldn't be surprised by a winning record.
