You know that a supreme court decision in Canada at Spring Break last year made filesharing on instruments such as imesh and Kazaa legal, right? That means no jail. If you're Canadian, you're clean. :)

Does filesharing include movies and tv shows as well or is it strictly music? Cause Ive downloaded every season of the Sopranos and burned them to DVD saving me about 400 bucks.

its everything... if u download anything its okay but the only way you can get in trouble I believe is when your the one uploading the material online for people to download.BUt he wont get in much trouble either :lol:

As far as music goes, if someone would put out albums that were soild from beginning to end and provide worthwhile liner notes and extras I would probably be willing to spend the cash. Most Cds have 2-3 good tracks and a bunch of crap filler. Therefore, I will continue to buy very few CDs and instead download the tracks I like. (Take that Metallica.)
