I'm sure it won't be long before you add another Grey Cup to the resume as part of the coaching staff. Good luck this upcoming season.

    Re: Thank You

If you work even half as hard at coaching as you did on the field, the D will bring Edmonton more Cups very soon.

Thanks AJ. It was great watching you over the years. My highlite as an esksfans member was e-mailing your Mom and sending her a copy of the 05 Grey Cup victory on DVD. She replied that she really enjoyed watching it. You played with a passion that I sincerely hope you can instill in the team in the upcoming years. I fear the Esks tradition is being lost over the last few seasons. Keep it going strong bud!

Thanks for all the hard work you put into this team, and for all the good memories that you left us with. I can only hope that another LB can step up and follow in your footsteps.

Thank you AJ, for all you've given to the Edmonton Eskimos and to it's fans.

You'll always be remembered for being a true warrior on the field.

Good luck to you with whatever the future holds.

As a fan of an opposing team, the biggest compliment I can give you is that we feared you.

And now, perhaps even more. Best of luck in the new job.

Great career 77, onward and upward to the next one.

Hey, if Rick Campbell starts calling too many 3 man rushes can you and Kepley go and give him a linebacker wedgie please?

Thanks for your years of service to the team in the past and in the future. You are an intregral part of this team and having you here as a coach and teaching the new players what it means to be an Eskimos is great to see.

All the best for you and your family, this season and for many more to come.

    Re: Thank You

AJ, you've easily been my favourite football player...

Thanks for all the memories, the cups, and continually fighting through hell and high water for the EE.

If you can get half the determination and grit you had into the current LB core, next year is looking a helluva lot brighter.
"This year, we did what we were supposed to do. We fought as a team. We fought as a team. And the fact is, we gotta go back and go to work, to make sure we finish this next time. That's all we gotta do. This right here makes us stronger. Let's understand who we are as a team. Let's understand this right here makes us stronger." - Ray Lewis, January, 2012.

    Thank YOU, AJ.

You will be missed on the field, no question. But I look forward to the next generation learning from the man who is the embodiment of what it means to be an Eskimo.

    Good luck!

    Re: Thank You

There are a lot of runningbacks and slotbacks who breathed a lot easier when they heard you were trading in the cleats for a headset.

Thank You AJ, and remember that we still support you off the grid iron as well. This isn't the end of your Eskimo story, just a new chapter.

Thanks for the years AJ. I'll never forget the bag of pennies hanging off your locker!
Was hoping for another year of you on the field, but am glad that you're not going away completely. I'm sure that just having you on the sidelines will make the other teams just a little bit nervous!
Well, gentlemen, by all means, I think we ought to have an introspective moment of silence for poor old Tin-Tin.

Interestingly enough, that game was on ESPN Classic last night. I watched the second half. AJ was a monster. We don't win that one without him.

Enjoy your "retirement" AJ! Looking forward to seeing you on the sidelines.

Thanks for everything you sacrificed. Words won't express the collective gratitude, pride, and pleasure we all took in seeing you help carry the torch higher and farther than those who came before you.

Nothing but the best wishes go out to you in the next phase of your career.

We're going to miss you out there, Bossman.
I hit them as hard as I could on the mouth right from the start of the game so they were thinking this was going to be a long day. Sooner or later one of us had to quit. And it wasn't going to be me.
