Boys build stun gun from how-to on Internet
    http://www.thestar.com/News/GTA/article/410176

    Tracy Huffman
    Staff Reporter

It is said to have started on the Internet.

A quick "how-to" search, and the teenager had the information he needed to build a stun gun. After constructing the device, the boy from Flesherton, Ont., sold it to his friend for $20, OPP said.

Described by police as "good young men" who probably didn't realize the Taser-like device could land them criminal records, the teens are not accused of firing the weapon. But one of the boys took the stapler-sized gadget to school on Wednesday. A teacher at Grey Highlands Secondary School called police.

"It was a homemade device ... and it was in working order," said OPP Const. Steve Starr. "I don't think the student realized they are a prohibited weapon."

The device was seized by police with the full co-operation of the boys, aged 15 and 17, whose names are protected.

In the end, police warned the boys. They face discipline by the school.

A "how to build a stun gun" search on google.ca produces more than 1million results; the first is a site linked to the University of Guelph.

Another of this kind of case
Girls in trouble for tampering with teacher's drink
    April 2, 2008

Dawson -- Just a day after Waycross students were charged in a plot to kill their teacher, a second south Georgia school reveals a plot to poison a teacher's drink. It happened at Carver Elementary in Dawson in February. The investigation is still ongoing.

The four students, ages 10 through 12, told police it was only Tylenol, but police say it's a serious offense.

Parents in Dawson were aware of the Waycross student's plot to harm their teacher, what many didn't realize was four students at Carver Elementary in February hatched their own sinister plot to harm a fifth grade teacher.
When asked why they did it, the 10, 11, and 12 year old girls told Corporal Colwell their teacher Miss Fox had rolled her eyes at the girls and they felt she was prejudiced against them.

The girls are black and Fox is white.

Personally I was quite enjoying the 'weird animal sex' thread. Then again, I got to make 'spider porn' movies and show them at a conference at Harvard so I may be biased!

This would mean global temperatures have not risen since 1998, prompting some to question climate change theory.
But experts say we are still clearly in a long-term warming trend - and they forecast a new record high temperature within five years.

A three-year-old boy has been banned from his Tyneside nursery school class for his trendy "tramlines" haircut.

The mother of Tavis Cook was told the youngster's distinctive hairdo broke the rules of Riverside primary School in North Shields.

Donna Cook has been told to keep her son away until his hair grows back.

After a stream of incidents, involving Mitchell mocking her colleagues and using foul language, the company decided it had ample cause to fire her.

"We are just asking for a little bit of respect and understanding."
I understand that this is sick and wrong. Even if I do google it every once in awhile.

"I was looking at him, sort of going, oh, he's not too bad," she said.

Could you imagine saying that about your mom or dad?

Mr Deaves admitted that he "initially" thought having sex with his daughter was wrong.
But once I saw her titties all bets were off.

"I knew it was illegal, of course I knew it was illegal but you know, so what."
    Freaks!

Mrs Deaves said the physical relationship with her father was like "a sexual relationship with any other man".

For Mr Deaves the sexual relationship was "absolutely fantastic".
I wouldn't even be able to get sexually excited if I knew that was my relative.

A South Australian police media spokesman said "the couple is being monitored"
So they can catch it and put it on RedTube.

Jury convicts MLK confidant James Bevel of incest with his teenage daughter
    http://ca.news.yahoo.com/s/capress/k...fidant_charged
    By The Associated Press

LEESBURG, Va. - A jury in Virginia has convicted an iconic figure in the civil rights movement of incest for having sex with his teenage daughter 15 years ago.

Rev. James L. Bevel was a top lieutenant to Martin Luther King Jr. He also is credited with helping conceive and organize the Million Man March.

Bevel faces up to 20 years in prison when he is sentenced.

The four-day trial included bizarre testimony about Bevel's philosophies for eradicating lust, and parents' duty to "sexually orient" their children.
Constitutional challenge to warrant to be heard in beer ad actor's child porn case

TORONTO - A potentially precedent-setting Internet privacy case involving a one-time beer commercial actor charged with child porn offences is set to hear arguments Friday.

Robert Norman Smith played an angry Scotsman in ads for Alexander Keith's beer until he was charged in 2006.

As his trial was set to begin this week, his lawyer launched a constitutional challenge of the search warrant that led to his arrest. Lawyer Cindy Wasser said her client's privacy was violated when Internet provider Bell Canada gave his name and address to Toronto police

TV Simpsons Replaced by BayWatch in Venezuela

    http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/entertainment/7338131.stm

    Simpsons ditched by Venezuelan TV

The Simpsons went from TV to big screen success
The Simpsons has been dropped from morning TV in Venezuela after being deemed unsuitable for children - and has been replaced by Baywatch.

The popular US cartoon about the yellow dysfunctional family was branded "inappropriate" and pulled by the country's television authorities.

Caracas TV station Televen has started showing episodes of the beachside show in the same mid-morning slot.

It became famous for its bikini-clad stars, including Pamela Anderson.

HAMILTON, Ont. - Two men who operated a church here in which marijuana was sold as a sacrament were sentenced to prison Friday.

Michael Baldasaro was sentenced to two years in jail while Walter Tucker will spend one year behind bars in connection with selling marijuana at the Church of the Universe.

In handing down his ruling, the judge called the operation "a marijuana convenience store that operates for profit like a Prohibition-era speakeasy, but disguised as a church."

In 2004, police officers purchased marijuana from the church in an undercover operation.

Baldasaro and Tucker maintain that God tells them to smoke marijuana and pass joints to their parishioners.

Well then...methinks these guys have been doing a little bit too much of their own product, not to mention completely blaspheming God....

They had some native people try this same defense here not long ago. They got busted with the largest grow op in Saskatchewan history, bu they said the creator told them to do it. Even the FSIN said that they were full of sh!t. They are now spending the next 3 to 6 years thinking about it in jail.

If you think about it, it is actually a pretty good idea even aside from winning the money. It gives him something to live for even on the roughest of days. Sometimes human will can push people through stuff like this.
