Actually it was the Big Bopper he gave it up for, but still a crazy story.

With the retirement of Travis Lulay this week, I thought I'd post a game that involved the Esks against Lulay. This game had absolutely everything, although my favourite story line is the unexpected "suiting up" of Sean Whyte for the Lions.

I must admit, I really loved the atmosphere at "Tempire". It was a nice intimate little stadium that was packed every night.

I was at that game...what I remember is the early Ray 40 yard run. It was like watching a slow motion replay, but live Might have been the longest run of his career.
Out of my mind; back in five minutes.

It was - cfl.ca says it was 45 yards. Daniel Porter had 171 yards rushing, but Ray finished with 135 yards rushing that night. He was also only 50% throwing on 10/20 Nobody would believe it if you told em

Watching Ray run was like watching a baby giraffe running... Not exactly graceful and you always expected him to biff it at any moment.
Just a quick shout out to Mr."Winning isn't everything" for pis*ing away not one but TWO HoF QB's. F*ck you Len and good riddance.

You definitely were there. I’ve got photographic evidence.

Fun game, and I loved Tempire. Great atmosphere and you really felt like you were right on top of it all.

*Sigh* Daniel Porter...dude could've been a legend if not for Tillman and injuries getting in his way.
