Attention RIP George A Romero and Martin Landau

Us old school kids got a double whammy today with the deaths of George Romero and Martin Landau.

Mr. Romero is responsible for not only giving us the definitive model of what the "walking dead" is, but his social commentary in his "Dead" film series is a wonderful statement to the fact that schlocky horror can be more than blood and guts.

I was a fan of Martin Landau from his days beginning with Mission Impossible. I think nothing is more perfect a tribute than the classic theme song to the series Space 1999.

    Rest in peace, sirs.

The Night of the Living Dead is still a classic.
Kid: dad, I got a role in the school play, I play a man who's been married for twenty years.
Father: That's great son. One day you'll get a speaking part.

I love Night and Dawn of the Living Dead.
