Good signing for the Lions. Not surprised. Hervey knows how important a good Oline is and what a good Oline looks like.

That kid sure got his sh*t together from how he kicked in Winnipeg. Gifted us a game where he missed something like four field goals. Surprising the Argos let him go.

Demski is a big loss for Regina, gotta love it. Developing into one of the better national receivers and can be a KR also.

Sorry if I like seeing my team place an emphasis on protecting the QB. It's pretty tough to score points if your QB is on his ass every play because the Oline can't protect him. The Lions struggled last year and part of it was their Oline sucked. So BC went out and got the best Olineman on the market to address their biggest issue while the Esks let the best Olineman on the market go.

Rider have released the big FA signing last year in Derek Dennis. Must be making that move to make a splash in FA.

The Esks signed Batiste who dressed in 4 games last year. They signed him January 3. I am not sure what he makes but he's been around long enough so I doubt it's the league minimum. Batiste turns 36 in March. According to a tweet I saw from Lalji, the Esks thought they were close to signing Figueroa on the weekend. So that tells me they were haggling over money and if you think you are close, they are haggling over not a lot of money. So why are you rushing to signed a 36 yr old American Olineman in January for when you have your best lineman's contract still to do? I don't know what the difference in dollars is but would it not make sense to get your starters signed up first before you worry about old 3rd stringers?

The reason I am struggling to get on bored with Brock is the order in how he does things.

People sometimes only see one move at a time. You can't win the chess match that way. Lots of strategy involved in SMS and putting together the best overall roster. Sometimes the best guy at his position doesn't afford you the ability to build the best team.
Sorry to see you go Joey Figs. Best of luck in BC.

The key spot on an Oline is at LT. We just let a really good one go to a div rival and have no proven replacement ready to go.

I feel like we've been teleported back to 2011
I hit them as hard as I could on the mouth right from the start of the game so they were thinking this was going to be a long day. Sooner or later one of us had to quit. And it wasn't going to be me.

exactly, in a noncap league, you can look at moves on a 1 versus 1 perspective but in a cap league you have to be patient to see what team they field. It becomes especially hard to criticize individual moves in the CFL when you don't know the entire cap situation.
