I think a Blue Bomber vs TiCat Grey Cup would be a lot of fun as it would be a fresh matchup and the 2 longest droughts in the league so that’s who I’m cheering for today!

I’m with you T-Bone! I wouldn’t be upset if Ottawa won too.

Red blacks continue to be an enigma in the red zone. They can move the ball with ease a lot of the time but can’t finish drives. Already 0 for 2 in the red zone and they wasted their challenge too.

    Another Eastern beatdown.

Maybe if the 7th place 8-10 team wasn’t gifted a home game against a 9-9 team, there would’ve been a more interesting game this week. Just sayin.....

I'm watching the NFL but did a player get ejected in the Ham-Ott game? what did they do?

Johnathan Rose from Ottawa. Scuffle on the sideline after he tackled a player - along the part with the visitors’ bench - and then he threw an official when he meant to throw a Ticat.

In this case, I don’t think it makes a difference that the benches are beside each other. That could have happened either way.

And the first call by the QB official is straight up wrong. Never change CFL.

And the eighth official's first call is wrong!

TSN is saying that Andre Proux made the call.

He threw the flag well after the play. CFL is just covering their asses.

Lewis Ward misses the convert, Rod Black says he made it. Never change Rod Black.

Is there a weird wind in Ottawa this quarter or something? Can’t believe Ward has missed 2 converts in a row. Those are putts for him!

Trevor Harris with a playoff record 6 TD passes. Unreal game by the RBs offense.

I do think they had the better chance of knocking off the Stamps if they win the West.

Well done Ottawa...if today is any indication, they may be for real. If they're up against the Stamps next week, I hope "good" Trevor Harris shows up.

One thing that drives me nuts...this isn't just Rod Black...but the commentators get into hagiographic mode, picking a single player or team and talk on and on about how great they are...forgetting that there's an actual football game going on. I don't think they noticed the Cats TD drive just now.

Go figure, Lewis Ward who was their most consistent player all season was one of the only ones with an off game today.

Was waiting to see what would happen with his next field goal opportunity. Obviously it’s in his head, wind or not....which will be interesting, especially given the timing. He had so much success as a rookie kicker, so he hasn’t had to work through the “bad stuff” during the season. Hopefully for his team’s sake, he’ll bounce back for next Sunday.

Well, the Tiger Cat stars on both sides of the field were flat today. Masoli threw a lot of awful footballs today; Simoni Lawrence was a non-factor.
Congrats Redblacks (and their fans). Happy to see you coming to Edmonton next week.

    Re: 2018 CFL Game Thread

Yup, I’m totally on the Ottawa bandwagon now!

So glad Ottawa won. The thought of Eric Tillman being here for Grey Cup as the GM of one of the teams in the big game made me want to vomit.

Also, I think this game was further testament to how absolutely terrible BC was last week. BC made Hamilton look so good, when they really weren’t. (It was obvious the BC players were just happy/relieved to be in the playoffs.)

Similarly, BC made Calgary look good in the last game of the season, so all the talk of Calgary looking great in that last game doesn’t resonate with me. Will be an interesting West Final - both Calgary & Winnipeg have a lot to prove.

and if Ottawa was to win they would have 2 grey cups in 5 years vs Sask with 4 in 100.....

Damn, just missed that TD. Stamps tend to get better as the game goes, need to be getting points when they are there.

That was an obvious pick play. Dickenson going full-Maas wasting his challenge here.

That was dumber than Ricky's challenge. At least Ricky was right.

Bomber D was methodically shredded on that drive.

It was, and later in the drive Calgary got a couple gifts on no-calls on holding, especially on the down just prior to the third and one. Should have been a 10 yard penalty.

There are living breathing human beings who make their money writing about football thinking that Bo Levi can play in the NFL. I'm dead.
"This year, we did what we were supposed to do. We fought as a team. We fought as a team. And the fact is, we gotta go back and go to work, to make sure we finish this next time. Bombers D hasn’t had a single stop in this quarter. Going to need some major adjustments to have a hope in hell.
