Toronto's depth chart here. Franklin starting. No significant changes for the Esks.

I wonder if Bryant Mitchell might finally make the 44 this week as I think we will have to sit a national this week?

This could be a scary one. We play em 10 times, we win 9... gotta make sure it is one of those 9 games.

    Go Esks.

Have to sit 2– one is likely Allen & the other a national. Looks like Mitchell draws in.

Yeah..we have typically been sitting two internationals but we have two nationals going on and only one international coming off.

Been slipping my mind but I have really like what I have seen from Rivers in limited action. Reminds me an awful lot of Jefferson.

Always makes me nervous going into a game with one spare O lineman...having Eddie Steele on defense with the team a few years ago was always a bit of a security blanket as he could go in on offense if he had to and usually did remarkably well.

1 each of Nat/Int to sit - I'm guessing if Kwaku isn't 100% he'll be the National. That would probably leave one of the other D-linemen, or Bryant Mitchell, probably.

Morley just saying that Allen & Boatang are the scratches.
Didn’t realize that Boatang was injured in practice ffs....
Clear now why they brought Mackie back....

Wouldn't be an Eskimos season without a devastating fluke practice injury, now would it?

Watch him wind up on the 6-game.

Excited to see Mitchell finally get a look on offense!

Franklin has a rough time with pressure in his face like most QBs. I hope we don't sit back and allow him to pick us apart...

I just want to restate my position that if I were the GM, I would have seriously considered trading Mike Reilly and keeping James Franklin. I think he’s going to be THAT good. Hopefully these next couple weeks he’s not as good. Lol

Interested to see how Franklin does in this game and the rest of the season. I was never a huge Franklin booster like some of you. Personally thought he has been over rated. I think he can be a good QB but will never be at the Reilly level in my opinion.

Having said that, I probably just jinxed today's game.... Sorry.

Is it personnel or coaching? We have not had a good defense since Jones left. We are wasting the prime years of Reilly with this gong show of a defense.

Has happened every game this year. The Esks should just spot the opposition a TD to start the game. Pathetic !!

I have said from the beginning he will be the next Rakeem Cato. Once teams have film on him, he won’t be that great. He is also injury prone.

I honestly think I could play QB against this defense. They are a damn joke.

    The usual pathetic Eskimo start.

The worst position the Argos were at on second down on that drive was 2nd and 2.
Out of my mind; back in five minutes.

Since when has Franklin ever been injured?

Also, I disagree re: the Cato comparison. Cato was rushed into an Als' system that was fundamentally broken, even with Calvillo as a coach. Franklin has had the benefit of learning from the best between Reilly, Ray, a Kavis-proof Calvillo, and Trestman.

Meanwhile, it'd be nice to get a stop at the beginning of the game for once.

    Look at his college career...

Just google it. Shoulder, knee, etc.
