Vikings fire their OC and give the duties to their receivers coach. The announcers last night mentioned there was stress between the HC and the fired OC. Wondering if this will impact Zylstra's status on the team.

Just in case anyone missed this, Mike Mayock has been named GM of the Raiders. He was a walking encyclodedia about college prospects during the NFL draft and prospect workouts. Will be interesting to see if he can put that knowledge to work in putting a good team on the field.

Raiders have three # 1's in the upcoming draft and two # 1's the following draft. Maycock played one CFL game in '81 with the Argos.

Cdn. D lineman, Brent Urban, had a good game for Baltimore. Like fellow U. Virginia grad, Austin Pasztor, not much chance of either playing in the CFL. Good to see them making big bucks.

That was wild. If the ball had hit the crossbar on the other side of its end, that would have gone in.

Not too often does calling a timeout to mess with the kicker work. Worked this time. He nailed it the first time.

In fact, it's been demonstrated that icing the kicker doesn't work at all. It doesn't change the FG's probability either positively or negatively.

This kicker's been a statistical fluke this year, with how many times he's hit the uprights.

I saw an image on Twitter - and various claims - that talked about the kick being tipped. If so, hard to blame the kicker too much for that one. Though it’s wild that it was his 6th (and 7th!) posts of the season.

Perhaps Reilly still merits consideration for QB now???

With today's news, I'd say Reilly as Jaguar quarterback is far more likely now than Roughrider quarterback.

Yup, if Milanovich can convince the Jags' head office and HC to sign Reilly, this has a good chance of happening.

Can’t believe the missed pi call in the rams/saints game! Would’ve sealed it for the saints and now it’s heading to ot. Bad officiating everywhere I guess.

NFL officials are higher paid and receive more extensive training then their CFL counterparts... yet this

    Re: 2018 NFL Thread

I've been saying it for years there are issues in both games with officiating. Anybody that thinks it's only in our game is delusional.

I could have swore it was the Riders playing that game today and not the Rams.

Cost the Saints a Super Bowl game.

Another NFL championship game decided by a coin toss. Unbelievably stupid. Bush league even.

Certainly officiating issues. But two high-scoring nail-biting OT games.

The era of the No-Fun League is over!

Can't believe all the holding and pass interference going on besides the obvious play. How could that have been missed?

I don't see him that way. His voice gets so annoying after awhile. Sure, he's smart because of his football past but he gets the play call wrong a lot of the time too.

I actually agree with Smartie, I even made the comment that I think I would hire him as my defensive coordinator as he seemed to be calling the play before the snap.

Meh, to each their own. I find a lot of broadcasters annoying as hell and he's one of them.

    Just how I see it.
