    Help Building Models (Planes/Cars etc.)

So I'm trying to find a hobby that the little man and I can do together - and I remember building all kinds of models as a kid with Pops...and loving it! Now, we had a place back in Lloyd called The Hobby Shop where all us nerds would flock to get the latest AD&D stuff and supplies we'd need for building whatever Revell kit was new. Now I have no idea where to even look for something like this. Any ideas?
Googling "where to buy models in Edmonton" turned into many, many escort sites. The things those missile twisters can teach him, he doesn't need to know until he's in prison!

Is that the one that's a bit down the road from the go kart track/batting cages?

I've bought model kits, supplies and paints from Comex Hobby in Kingsway Mall. Prices were decent and I thought the paint selection was better than Hobby Wholesale for Warhammer type modelling.

Suppliers of breasts aren't that difficult to find. What's far more difficult to find is a supplier of breasts that look natural.

For whatever reason far too many sculptors and artists find breasts too challenging and can't get them right. (A pet peeve of mine.) They sculpt/draw breasts to resemble volleyballs jutting out from a woman's chest rather than milk glands dropping naturally from a woman's chest. This may perhaps be because the sculptors/artists are using figure models who have themselves been implanted with fakes, which is why their finished products look fake as well.

I've been collecting unbuilt model kits since 1983 or so. My focus is on the kits I either built or coveted as a kid. Here are some pictures I took three years ago of the display cabinets in the den where I keep many of my collectibles. First my main model kit cabinet:

Then my board game, lunch box and overflow model kit cabinet:

Finally, the overflow cabinet in my cat Ace's bedroom where I display the cool stuff for which there isn't sufficient room in my collectibles den:

What do you want to know? Since I've never lived anywhere close to Edmonton, I can't wax eloquent about Edmonton hobby shops.

Otherwise I can readily provide the thousand words in addition to the pictures.

You know that's a very curious turn of phrase to use when you're talking about your son. I mean why would you link escorts to your son being in prison?

And did you try Google searches for "model kits Edmonton" and "hobby shops Edmonton"? I found lots.

Watch the movie Dutch...you'll get the quote. It's one thing to google something but I'd rather see if anyone else here had any useful suggestions first. And they have. Then there's your replies which are as usual - useless and full of yourself. If you're not a part of the solution, you're a part of the problem. Quit being a part of the f***ing problem!

I suppose I shouldn't be surprised to meet the occasional disinterested philistine on the net.
