    Re: CFL Offseason 2018/19

Argos have added yet another kicker, former UCF (and youtube sensation) Donald De La Haye. Here's a clip of him in high school kicking a 70 yard field goal. (I believe the second attempt is 55 yards)

Donald faced a legal battle with the NCAA when they revoked his scholarship as he was drawing income on youtube for his kicking videos.

Dave Campbell tweeting that Konar has signed with the Lions. No surprise.

Twitter reports that Ernest Jackson has been released by Montreal.

Saskatchewan has also made a handful of roster moves today, including the addition of former Esks DE Gerald Rivers.

No matter where he plays, Odell will always be one of my favourite personalities in this league.

Must've been a Rider fan writing this article: they spelled "lose" as "loose".

The reaction from Lions' fans reminds me of what happened here when Brock decided to move on from Willis and Bowman: A heart and soul member of the old regime gets traded away by a new GM with few emotional ties. The fans shout "Treason!", while the GM is convinced that this is a necessary evil to keep the team strong (and obey the salary cap in B.C.'s case).

The actual season will tell the truth. Sol E could rebound like Willis did, or completely fall flat like Bowman did.

Its unpopular amongst fans but sometimes you need to cut ties with their favorite players in order to field a winning team, thats whats happening here...... at least in my opinion.

Smart signing by the Als...and another loss for the Stumps.

Calgary never seems to break the bank trying to keep players. I recall the Argos making an offer to BLM that was half a million more on a four year deal than what he signed for in Calgary.

Personally I think Bo would be much less of a successful QB playing in TO versus the system in Calgary.

For sure. He gave Calgary a hometown deal, but best chance for success will be in Calgary.

Good scouting. Better management. Easy combination to continued success, at a reasonable price tag.
