In the interview Trevor mentioned that he's not allowed to meet with Maas, wonder if this is part of the CFLPA mandate to not participate in off season stuff until the CBA is agreed upon? You can Guarantee that Reilly is or has had several meeting with Jackson already.

Jyles was here twice and he wore 3 &7. But no memory of what year he wore 7. Dan Crowley also wore 7, he was here in the mid 90's I believe.

    Re: Eskimos 2019 Free Agency

By my count and this is nowhere near being gospel but...we look to only have lost 6 players out of 40 to other teams in FA so far. Four of which went to BC!
    5 retired. 14 re-signed or extended. 4 released.

    By comparison
    - Calgary has had 18 of 41 leave McHole so far.
    - BC had 38 going to FA with 15 leaving the Den.
    - Sask with 26 FA's and 9 going elsewhere or retiring.
    - 34 Bomber FA's with 9 leaving.

    - 8 Redblacks moving on.
    - TiCats have lost 9 of 37 so far.
    - Argos with 43 FA's on their list have lost 7 with 6 of them retiring!
    - Als had 31 FA's and have lost 10 to other teams or retirement.

So, so far the most change has been Calgary and BC so we might see a little drop in their continuity/chemistry with each other. Add to that new coaching staff in BC and new DC in Calgary it could make a difference in the West this season.
Just a quick shout out to Mr."Winning isn't everything" for pis*ing away not one but TWO HoF QB's. F*ck you Len and good riddance.

    Pete Lavorato # 7
I hit them as hard as I could on the mouth right from the start of the game so they were thinking this was going to be a long day. Sooner or later one of us had to quit. And it wasn't going to be me.

Just had a brain wakeup. Pete Lavarato wore # 7 also. I might take him over Prefontaine. Pete was DB, safety in think, and likely part of our five Cups in a row .

Think these have already been answered.

    Players who wore #7:

    1975-1981: DB Pete Sandusky
    1983: DB Jerry Philip
    1983-1985: DB Dale Thompson
    1986: WR Doug Allen
    1988, 1991-1996: WR Jim Sandusky
    1997-1998: DB Ian Franklin
    1999-2001: QB Dan Crowley
    2005: K Hayden Epstein
    2006-2007: QB Steven Jyles
    2008-2010: K/P Noel Prefontaine
    2010: K Justin Medlock (switched to #3)
2011: WR Brandon James (released mid-season)
    2011-2013: RB Hugh Charles
    2014: RB Noel Devine
    2015: WR Kenny Stafford
    2016-2018: DB Josh Woodman
    2019: QB Trevor Harris

Not a lot of Western teams went with single-digits in the 1950s or 1960s; maybe it was harder to see from the stands? Or maybe they just thought it was too much like hockey. Either way, Lavorato was the first to wear it in a regular season game, anyway.

Yup. Was with the Argos but we claimed him off waivers after Toronto traded us for Noel Prefontaine.

Bummer. That might've been a good one to hold onto.
