Unless Harris is truly healthy, I would start Kilgore, hope your defense can keep it real close and maybe you can pull it out. Hamilton with Evans hasn't exactly been torching teams offensively.
Must be a full moon or something as I fully agree with this post.

I've found Hunter to be a bit infuriating. He has shown some serious potential but also just makes simple mistakes and takes stupid penalties. But if I ever get the feeling like we should just toss him...I remember having those same thoughts about Willie Jefferson. When he got it all together....well I wish he was still in green and gold.

Lets also remember that he is only 24 and our 2nd youngest DB (Brian Walker is 23). Potential is there just needs to keep advancing.

Then they either have to go through Hamilton or Calgary and Winnipeg to get to the Grey Cup. Even if they go 4-2 the rest of the way I won't have confidence that they can win the Grey Cup or even get there.
Werent the St. Louis Blues in last place.....lol

Great read on Charles. I am also really impressed that he decided to make the trip North - I think that it speaks volumes about his love for the game and desire to play.

but do BC have the receivers for Reilly???

Stefan Charles has played no meaningful football since 2016. Good luck to him.

Neither had Logan Kilgore prior to last game.

Charles has some real skills, and has had some meaningful snaps against some of the best athletes in the sport. He's on the PR to start to get his legs back under him; I think he will be fine, and likely ready to go by or before the playoff push.

I'm also excited for Betts. I'm sure there is a little development in his future, but the potential for long term looks like it is there.

I really hope they aren’t rushing him back. As has been pointed out already, we appear destined for a crossover so there is nothing gained by exposing him to further injury.

If he’s 100%, then suit him up.

I'd go so far to argue giving him the first team offense in practice today is also reckless. If there is any chance he can't play the whole game Friday, I'd rather Kilgore had as many reps as possible to get ready. Harris likely would have been able to step in with less reps easier.

Crazy to think Charles was the first pick Hervey made as GM. Just shows how long it has taken him to get up here. That line has looked downright poor the past month so hopefully our nationals will give it a kick in the ass...

I would love to be in the stands on Friday to give that burger a try. The 15 toppings and the Lays chips are a nice little salute to Ray.

Interesting. He says that the injury happened in the Winnipeg game, just before the two Calgary games. Might help to explain the stifled offense we saw, especially in Calgary.
Out of my mind; back in five minutes.

I completely agree with you. I can maybe see him trying to play in Calgary on labour day but with a short week and given he didn't get touched in Edmonton yet he could get through what, a couple of series before he was done, why are you playing.

So for this game, I would like to know where he's actually at. I know that won't happen but is he legit ready to go as in healthy or not? I know Morley and Dave were making this huge deal about him practicing but what does that mean? Is he 60% and just seeing how it feels in practice and all it will take is the wrong hit and he's done or is he healthy? As I mentioned earlier, if he's not healthy, I would much rather him take 1 more week to fully heal, hope your defense can keep it close and maybe you can squeak out a win with Kilgore than have him ne hurt and try to "gut it out", have him be ineffective and potentially make things worse injury wise. There is no bye week to fall back on now. Harris is all about accuracy, getting the ball out quick and touch when it comes to passing. If his arm or wrist or fore arm isn't right, he won't be good. They need the win but not at the expense of potentially losing him for longer or have this injury drag on and him continue to be not effective.

Unfortunately, my guess is he probably tweaked/pulled something somewhere in his arm. Played in Calgary which made it worse because they have a tough defense. Then with very little time off with the short weak, he shouldn't have played in Edmonton but he did anyway. Probably aggravated it in Edmonton so he pulled himself out. With not even 2 weeks of heal time, my guess is he's not fully healthy but "close" so he will go anyway and this will drag on for weeks.

Itís a very tough situation to be in... as a coach I can empathise with why they let him play.. I have done it myself this season ( we lost that game to ) but I understand in situations especially pressure situations U go with your guy.. even if not 100 percent

In hindsight with our record in Calgary anyway we should have sat harris and played Kilgore in Calgary and see how harris felt on the Friday .. but I just cannot be a hypocrite and blast our coaches when Iím as guilty
