There must be some serious conflict in the vision of things between Hervey & Claybrooks.
I thought he'd get a crack at one more year but at the end of the day 5-13 is 5-13 and 0-10 within the division is 0-10 within the division. Rare is it that a HC gets another chance after a season like that.

Maas' goose may be cooked. As a biased BC fan I like to think BC beat the same teams as Edmonton this season; Montreal, Ottawa, Toronto and BC.

They did. The only difference between the two teams was all the head-to-head matchup, which didn't go so well for you.

I think the football career is over... well, unless he signs with the XFL

Surprised he lasted the season, TBH.
Out of my mind; back in five minutes.

So you're saying there's no chance of getting a tryout in Edmonton? We can always use a fast DB.

What a waste of talent. If he had invested more effort into his on-field play than into his "big man on campus" persona, he'd be an unstoppable force by now.

    Interesting read: https://www.tsn.ca/the-charleston-effect

Y'know, for all the hype that Huff gets about his GMing abilities, I'm surprised that Hughes was the guy that he chose to trade to make cap space, and not someone else (salary cap reasons). Hughes has done this year what many of us thought Odell would do with the Lions.

Wonder if he recommends his own guy, McEvoy. But maybe being a west coast guy McEvoy might not want to jump ship for a team that does not have a owner yet.

Bomber radio announcer , Bob Irving, on twitter says it's just a matter of working out a new contract with Mike O'Shea according to BB GM Kyle Walters. Certainly would diminish the Argo's options if they tie the can to Chamblin.

Very CFL to not release the new details of the deal with TSN. Why does it have to be such a secret?

I also wonder how much each team gets from this deal? $50mill/season in a 9 team league...in theory that would be around $5.5 mill each but I imagine the league takes some off the top.

I hope Ambroise negotiated for more as attendance is dropping and teams need to make up for that loss. And that he also made sure TSN gave the league more and better exposure.

Do they also decide which way to shade the games for the next few years?
