Yeah, they are 2 losses away from basically being eliminated from playoff contention and their next two games are against teams with 6-2 records. Especially as they've already lost the tiebreaker against both Saskatchewan and Edmonton and need to beat Winnipeg by 11 or Calgary by 5 to get those tiebreakers.

Certainly not what I imagine he expected. His personal win-loss record over the last 18 games is now down to 5-13 and the first of those 18 games was a win.

Nichols injured. Could be a dislocated shoulder.

Weird stat from tonight: Matt Nichols went 10-for-12 passing. (Streveler 0-3).

In the entire game, the Bomber offense attempted a pass only 15 times.

With Harris and that new kid on Special Teams, that's all they need.

Question in regards to the double pass play. Does Reilly get a completion for -1 yard?

It's not a "passing play" if it's backwards. If Carter doesn't throw that, whatever yardage (positive or negative) he would have got would have counted as rushing yards.

Ward missed a field goal, his streak ended at 69 in a row. Ottawa fans gave him a real nice standing O

Looks like it will be Dusty Nielson (college alumni from my hometown of Lethbridge) with Suitor.

Based on the pregame fireworks, could be in for a feisty game. Hope it makes up for that turd of a first game.

Dickinson is right up there with Maas for wasting his challenges. That was a clear pick, why waste your challenge on that and so early?

Surprisingly enough, calgary has taken some penalties and gotten the short end of the stick on a few calls. I have no idea how the Begelton catch in the end zone was ruled incomplete. Caught it, secured it, got both feet down, landed on his back and slid a little before getting it knocked out. Looked like a TD to me

At the game...what a wild pregame skirmish. Seemed to kind of come out of nowhere.

Don't know if they caught it on TSN but there have been a few times there have been Als receivers wide open downfield. Adams seems to not being going through his reads properly to pick up those guys.

Also curious about that Begelton non-TD....were there replays that showed him not keeping control? He looked like he had it to my eye.

    What. A. Finish.

OMG. If you haven't seen the Mtl-Cgy game yet, PVR it if it's being replayed. Start watching with about three minutes left. And set it to go an hour after the scheduled end of the game.

I swear I had about five heart attacks from that point onward.

It’s about time that the Stumps got flagged for some penalties. I love seeing Coach Dick come unraveled on the sidelines!

    He did!
This game, for me, was the CFL at its best. There will likely be some that will be upset at the multiple occasions where there were officiating impacts (or delays), but it contained so many positive elements. Emerging talents, competitive game, strategy, twists and turns, and no walking off the field with a minute left on the clock.

Feels like Vernon Adams sort of personifies the CFL - a guy that's been overlooked at times, paid his dues, persevered and is getting to shine.

Someone in my FF league had both Bagelton and Lewis in their lineup, and it wasn't Parkies, Looner or Hugoagogo (or me). oh yeah, they had Trevor Harris too.
