Went back and rewatched it, I didn’t see any obvious holding call.

Well...we are probably lucky to have this at only 4 points. Maas and the Esks have shown some solid half time adjustments and lord knows we need a few.

Might need a turnover along the way...

Probably because it wasn’t significant. I also think TSN has an agreement to not make refs look bad by highlighting mistakes. A lot of penalties are not being shown this season.

Bowman was acting spastic which likely got the call...veteran gets the call.

Probably why TSN didn’t show a replay.

Argh, a frustrating half. You're not going to win many games when you have to play against two teams: a solid opponent, and your own mistakes.

There's time to redeem this yet.

    Hope your right....

Honestly I hoped we would be better than this today on offence

Kelly was holding most of the way, but the real grabbing came as the DE was trying to cut back inside just before Harris released the ball. It was a penalty (at least in my opinion)

Running the ball would be a good start...

Welp, the offence has been infuriating so it feels like another time to point out how good our D has been this year. I thought for sure it was 14-3 after the Als got to the 3.

If the offence wakes up in the 2nd half and the Esks pull this off, the win would be all on the D as this could’ve been over already with how awful the O looked. Have to get Gable and Ellingson more involved.

D is playing some good football. O needs to run it. Hopefully adjustments are there in the second half

Re: Eskimos vs. Alouettes; Game 5

Offence was actually decent on 1st down but a complete tire fire on 2nd down. 4 for 13 on 2nd down conversions and only 5.9 yards per play on 2nd down (13 per on 1st)

Edit: on further review, these numbers seem buggered. CFL stats say we have only had 7 first down plays which seems wrong.

Kenny's drop was the TSN turning point of the half, we had everything under control until Montreal grabbed momentum off of that play.

We did good to weather the storm and give ourselves a a chance to pull it out in the second half.

Solid by Whyte. Collins needed better situational awareness on that screen. Only needed a yard to make it 3rd and 1, instead he tried to go east west.

    Thank god for Sean Whyte.

Hate to say it but Ricky Collins awareness on the field has not impressed me...

I’m still trying to recover from listening to them, it’s like being on an acid trip after listening to them.
