    Hot Eskimos vs. Stamps - B.O.A - Round 1

I am freakin' jacked for this one. Let's do this Eskimos!

Elliot draws in for Ellingson. Gable back in for Cooper.

Damn, missing Ellingson is going to hurt. Also, Cooper is back to the PR, sure hope that he’s not plucked off there by another team....

And with both Walton & CMT injured, Bazzie is shown as the backup MLB to Dean. Guess that means he’ll finally dress, leaving Elliott as the healthy scratch....

Ellingson will be missed. Noticed Cender ( #46) is dressed. He was an outstanding ST player and blocker at FB & TE in college. Remeber seeing a youtube vid. on him after he was drafted.

yeah what's wrong with that? Are you saying he can't play middle linebacker? Are you a hater?? Yeah thought so.

No being serious I think they do there's in reverse because Wall is a starter, so is Casher I believe. Friggin Calgary can't do anything normally or maybe I shouldn't have sniffed glue before work.

If they can’t play Cooper it would
Be nice to get Jackson some reps and touches in the offense. Not enough speed in the receivers

hahaha. I actually like the way our depth chart reads as we have the in and out, Calgary doesn't.

    Re: Eskimos vs. Stamps - B.O.A - Round 1

Tough to see two LBs coming out with none going on, but noting that Taylor and Glass both had some experience at SAM previously if they is a need to shuffle. I am more comfortable with dressing only one backup on the O-line than I am at LB, but the coming weeks should address that nicely.

Ellingson is a blow, but getting Daniels back should hopefully make it a relative saw-off. A deep threat option, but not as much developed chemistry with Harris for the 2nd down conversions, so someone's got to step up for that role. Kind of feels like another Ricky Collins week to me.

I'm hoping that Bazzie does make it on the active roster this week - whether as rotational depth up front or dropping back, he's certainly been paying his dues and it's a good time to see him get a chance. Calgary has given up the second most sacks IIRC, so anything that allows us to keep rolling the pressure and fresh legs at them could be fun to watch.

I expect a balanced gameplan from our offence, with lots of CJ, some WR screens to get guys going sideline to sideline, and hopefully a few deep shots to plant the seed. Want to see improved red zone, but the key to our production seems to be a very high second down conversion rate. Really excited to see how our Defence matches up against our ugly sisters to the south.

Actually if you go to the Stamps.com website, they have their full DC showing who is in & out for this game.

Maas doesn’t usually play depth chart games like some other teams which makes me think Daniels may be the scratch. He is listed as the backup boundary wr while Elliott is listed as the started field sb.

Assuming that Daniels is fully healthy, I’d rather see him dress rather than Elliott.
Daniels probably has something to prove to the Stumps....

If Daniels was fully healthy, he would have been listed as a starter and Elliott listed as a backup.

Can't see anyway that its not going to be Daniels as we won't be sitting a DB and if we sat Bazzie, we would only have 2 rotational linebackers (assuming that he actually plays linebacker). The only other option I can see is Cender but I have a feeling he'll draw in to take Mulumbas spot on special teams.

If anyone is playing referee bingo: Murphy, Proulx, and Foxcroft are off the board.

Which means there is a chance we get stuck with Big Al tomorrow. With a such a big win at stake, the thought sends shivers down my spine.

Possible that it's a positional thing? WR vs SB? Are the two guys actually different enough skill sets that they wouldn't see Daniels being able to work into Ellingson's role but do see Elliott being able to?

As was pointed out, we don't often see Maas play a bunch of games with the depth chart, but I'm not 100% confident how this plays out... though heavily leaning that it is one of the two receivers that is inactive.

I am constantly worried about oline depth and the trend of only having one backup olienman.

Looks like the Stumps are doing the same as well.
