It was pretty clear that Adams took a shot under the facemask....absolutely would have been called RTP and rightfully so. What I am not sure about is I have seen that called from the eye in the sky in the past....

Would love to see the Bombers representing the west paying the Eskimos representing the east in a Grey Cup in Calgary. Make it happen, guys!

Absolutely, Big Al has probably already calculated how many flags to give us.

    Thrilled for the win

Not happy with Brock’s US scouting but his free agent signings were excellent

Harris is an elite qb , I like him better than Reilly. What an awesome game he played

Josh Johnson was a player I had never heard of before this season. He started the season well then dropped off but what a game he had!

Anybody know if Hightower can play next week?

Harris shredded Hamilton’s defence last season. Should be interesting!!

Brock's job with Canadians allowed us to get Cooper on the roster. That is a plus...not a minus...

That didn't make the Als heavy favourites today, which is what was claimed.

What are your thoughts on Cooper and Diggs? Both seem to be legit starters and both finds by our scouting system.

We could have had Cooper plus another import like elliot or a DB if there was one

    - - - Updated - - -

I don’t think Diggs is a starter yet

    Maybe will be eventually

    Certainly no all star

Cooper is good but how much better is he than so many other running backs like Travon Van or Shakir Bell? There seems to be a lot of them . Same with import linebackers. Dexter Mcoil was signed by the stamps two weeks ago is Diggs better than that? There seems to be lots of imports around how come we don’t have any available to play as db?

    LOL...

    You bums.

Ard you all angry because the Edmonton Eskimos won?

So much negativity, but when the team went up by 12. I told both my wife, and my mother it was a done deal.

They went on the road in the East and won, baby.

Can we show sone love here.

Give me just one more like that next week.

The O was on fire. The D not so much. But, they made 2 huge plays in the second half. Great team win.

Hold your horses. Keon Lyn was brought in last week & added to the PR. Might see him in the future.
And don’t forget—we lost 2 starting db’s in practice this week but were able to add Walker & Colqhoun to the roster.

You were there too! Other than winning, my best moment was buying my tix from a disappointed Stamps fan

Also was at the 1987 game; that was the most memorable one. Giz's FG return TD, Dunigan/Allen tag team, and Kauric's winning 49-yard FG in the last minute. Ahh.

Who knows, maybe we'll have more memories to add two weeks from now.

Somewhere there is a French penguin claiming that RDS rigged the game and there is no way the Als were going to be allowed to win.

I see you've made up your mind on our scouting system. I don't share your opinion but you're entitled to view the team and management, however it suits you.

BTW Diggs finished the year 11th overall in tackles, while not playing much to finish the season out. He is a legit starter

You are a front runner, and completely brutal to read in a pbp thread.

    lol.

Try getting behind your “supposed” team.

You don’t have to hate. You don’t have to love. But maybe keep your negativity to yourself. Because when the Edmonton Eskimos win the Grey Cup Trophy. I will throw up when you say...

I knew it all the time.

This message goes out not only to the guy I quoted, but to many of you.

Deal with it, you salty souls.

As the guy who was trying to see the bright side near the end of the game when it got close...it's the game day thread. Football is an emotional game to play, and to watch. Everyone goes up and down. Don't take too seriously what people say here. It's all part of the fun.

Any time the Esks win a playoff game and the Stamps lose, I question whether I've entered the Twilight Zone.

Last Eskimo to have 3 picks in a playoff game was on Nov 4, 1959.... and you're gonna kick yourself.

I was there too. I completely covered the Stampeder horse logo at the top of the stadium with Eskimo stickers. I also plastered a few Calgary ambulances with them. The Eskimos gave me a box load of the stickers before I went down. I hear the Eskimos did the same to the Stampeder dressing room. They also smoked cigars at center field and stubbed out the cigars on Calgary logos.

We stayed with friends in Calgary and went to church after breakfast with them. I was in full Eskimo gear and someone swore at me in the church. The Priest apologized to us later.

That was the third time Calgary hosted and the third time Edmonton won in Calgary.

    Calgary sucks!

Pretty sure that was the second time that Calgary hosted the Grey Cup and the Second time Edmonton won it there. I was also at that game and had prime tickets about 14 rows up behind the Bombers bench. They were from one of the Safeway advertising guys whose girlfriend worked for the Stampeders and had those as season tickets. Some Stampeder fan punched me in the back of the head in the fourth quarter. It didn't help him as I just got louder. It was a great time. Thankfully Matt Dunigan was injured for that game.
