Attention Grey Cup games "on demand" for free in 2021

TORONTO — From Tony Gabriel’s ‘The Catch’ to Dave Ridgway’s game-winning kick, to DeVier Posey’s 100-yard touchdown reception, the Canadian Football League (CFL) announced today that fans will be able to relive these moments anytime come 2021.

The CFL unveiled, the Grey Cup On Demand Portal powered by Mark’s, a new one-stop platform that will allow fans to watch Grey Cup games on demand for free on CFL.ca. Nearly 70 Grey Cup games will be available from the 1950’s to the 107th Grey Cup in Calgary, beginning January 28, 2021.

Once published, fans will be able to access the archived games through a portal on CFL.ca that will allow them to choose to watch any of the archived games at any time.

Sweet. It would be even better if they could get an app for Apple TVs or Smart TVs as well. Though I haven't checked I suspect many of them were on YouTube as well, so I wonder if they'd have touched these up to make them look a little cleaner.

I'm the same usually, although I should be able to cast it from the website to my TV through my phone or laptop.

Not sure why they are waiting? The NFL is the only current live mainstream sport? Get it going before NHL, NBA etc are back?

I'm sure nobody needs a reminder that six of these games feature Edmonton

As long as I can watch the 93 game again I'm happy.

Soon, soon. They have to do the 80s yet. 4 more big wins for the EE in that decade!

Just watching the 75 GC game...thought they might edit out the topless lady during the national anthem but they actually left that in there so I guess they will be showing the game in its entirety.

I have to admit I've enjoyed watching these. Makes it even better when you were actually there, watching like..."hey! I just saw myself!" Lol.

Only one more Grey Cup appearance to wait for now - 2015 was a fantastic game, and Amazing that it was just over 5 years ago. So much has changed with the team, with only 5 players left from that 2015 season, 4 of them playing in that last Grey Cup win.

Franklin showed so much potential early. It would have been amazing to see it come to fruition.

My bad - meant to post this in the season thread. Oh, well

Just finished watching the 2005 GC game...man as much as I loved the '81 championship game against Ottawa the Esks victory over the Als in Vancouver was just an unbelievable game. Has to be in the top 5 all-time IMO.

Just wait...the greenwhites will haul out a "desk drawer" contract

Joking aside, it is surprising... I thought, in the right environment, he could be a starter. Never found that environment.

Personally I still after all these years have the 2005 GC as my #1 game all time. Great back and forth game to settle the Edmonton-Montreal battles of the 2000s.
