    Music What's in the cd player/ iPod / HDD/etc?

Since we got on to talking about bands, what's currently in your cd player?

    1. Gerry Gaskill - Come Somewhere

    2. Black Label Society - Hangover Music Vol 6

    3. Gary Moore - Still Got The Blues

    4. King's X - Dogman

    5. Los Lonley Boys

    6. Galactic Cowboys - The Horse That Bud Bought
I hit them as hard as I could on the mouth right from the start of the game so they were thinking this was going to be a long day. Sooner or later one of us had to quit. And it wasn't going to be me.

A mix of different stuff for me.
However right now in the player there is some 50 Cent, Frankie J, Ashanti, Usher and various other hip hop/R&B tunes.

    Jackyl
Right on, Push Comes To Shove is an awesome song! " Rock me, Roll me, Jackyl me off!"
I hit them as hard as I could on the mouth right from the start of the game so they were thinking this was going to be a long day. Sooner or later one of us had to quit. And it wasn't going to be me.

Re: What's in the cd player?

Sadly, the Jackyl that reared its head was "Dirty Little Mind".
The song reminds me of a girlfriend I had in high school. Hopefully, she has been seeking treatment since then

Another great song. Down On Me rocks as well. I've lit up Whyte Ave with that one, drowning out the punks and their fiddy-cent

If any drownding out needs to occur, usually Pantera's "Walk" does that trick.

I always figured 50 Cent wasn't much bigger than a quarter. Heck, even a Buck 65 Canadian has more value than that.

And I'll stop now. Groan at will.

I know that one cd that I couldn't live without is Eric Johnson's Ah Via Musicom which has the song Cliffs of Dover........

I'm almost embarassed to admit it... was feeling nostalgic so I grabbed Elton John's Goodbye Yellow Brick Road.

Listening to Saturday Night's Alright for Fighting very loud was quite good though... reminded me that The Who did a kick-a$$ version of it... anyone know where I could find that?

I was always partial to "Funeral for a friend/love lies bleeding", m'self.. underrated tune, but a phenomenal album, from a production/recording standpoint, not to mention some great songwriting..

Lloyd, remember most of us are in Alberta - we are talking compact disks here, not cassette decks.

    thanks man!!

Yeah... FFAF/LLB has always been a fave... and it is a great alb - some duds, but still a cool listen. Ditto for Capt. Fantastic.

Changing gears... what do you guys think of the GooGoo Doll's cover of Supertramp's 'Give A Little Bit'?
