    Attention EsksFansathon 2005

    Pledge Drive 2005

As the officially unofficial host of the 2005 EsksFansathon, I would like to take a moment to thank everyonoe on the site for contributions.

Thanks to the Admins Angelus and Frito for providing an excellent forum for us to be able to poke fun at the likes of Esks4Life, Numberz and numerous other people from Saskatchewan .

Thanks as well go out to the Mods (In no particular order)(Or maybe they are )...Diesel, Fishman, Esks4Ever, TurfToe and Giz for the hard work :snicker: they put in to help keep up the site. Each of you deserves a hearty pat on the back!!!

    Now to business.......

As most of you know, and for the benefit of the newbies to the site, this site is in no way connected to the Esks, other then the members great love for the team (In the least gay way possible ). As such the funding for said website has been solely the burden of Ang & FF for some time. Ang some time ago provided a way for us to be able to offset some of these costs & for the members to help keep the site up and running for everyone to enjoy.

Now I know some of us like Numberz have to rely on Mommy and Daddy for their allowance money, but for the rest of you who use the site regularily, let me call you out. Something as little as $5 can keep a starving, malnourished Giz posting for a month. $10 can help Ang pay for code that will automatically block any of Numberz posts and $15 could help pay for my fee for being the host for this EskFansathon........Huh.......It's a volunteer position.....Do I at least get a hat or shirt or something???

I'll let my agent handle that....

What are the benefits of your donation you may ask?? Let me list them below for ease of use...
    1. A Red title (esksfans.com Contributor)...like mine, that will magically appear once your donation has been made....
    2. You will help people like yourself be able to post on EsksFans for years to come.
    3. Rep shots gallore.....(If that floats your boat)
    4. A warm and fuzzy feeling
    5. A photo and letter from Gizmo Fan 2 or EskPhenom once a month detailing their recovery.. err.. posting
    6. The respect and thanks from your fellow EsksFans members

If you have already made a donation I thank you, as does the rest of the members of the site. For those of you considering it, go for it. I personally have started off the EsksFansAthon with a donation of $x. As I am not sure Ang or FF would want to make public the amount that we collect, lets keep track of the number of new red titles that appear....

IMO EsksFans.com is THE best Fan website out there, no diss to Calf and others who run their own sites. Between vBetting, the CFL pool, rep, valuable information and the other features on the site this is one of the more enjoyable sites on the web and needs to be supported.

Diez, Fish, TT and Mobes are manning the phone lines and Wad is armed with a calculator as we speak. Lets keep them busy. Thanks in advance and GO ESKS GO.

KC your a riot! Ive made my contribution already but I do plan on making another soon. This site is exceptional and my only regrets are not finding it sooner, and living in Saskatchewan.

Looks good, KC ......a letter once per month, eh? I think my poor, starving, malnourished self might be able to send that to those who contribute $5 or more to the Esksfansathon, if they like.

    Well done, KC

I haven't been fully paid in quite some time (a month overdue ), but once I do I'll be happy to donate my life savings to the Church of Eskimology. All Hail Brother KnuckleChucker!

I hit them as hard as I could on the mouth right from the start of the game so they were thinking this was going to be a long day. Sooner or later one of us had to quit. And it wasn't going to be me.

*nods* I understand, they can be a pain to deal with if you require their help. Fortunately I haven't had any problems yet, knock on wood.

Maybe a money order will work? I've sent one thru Western Union online to someone who didn't accept Paypal on Ebay.

I'm considering a donation, but I'm waiting until after my final Swim Meet (Club Nationals, Winnipeg July 21st-24th, come look at Canada's best). I can't go broke at inopportune times.

If KC would like to save me some digging in the archives however, he could post a mailing address for those of us too paraniod to use paypal.

Or to make things work a little faster, stop by Phil's place to give it to him personally around 3am (it's the most convenient time for him and he should be home for sure). Then bang on his window and yell REALLY loudly to make sure he can hear you!

It should also be mentioned that KC made this THIRD contribution today. We appreciate it greatly! He has been given a new Red Title since it's really the least we can do in return...

    Oh, hit him hard too.
