    I'll do that as well.

Heck, return two for a TD and I'll donate $500.00 to the relief efforts.

I officially retract my vote for DDS as Prime Minister. He's clearly incompetent.

He's seen it with his own eyes. I think that makes a pretty big difference.

Money Guy won't believe me.. but I manage my money pretty damn well in life.

I'm single - no kids.. have lot's of free cash saved up. Besides, $500.00 is expendable especially when I've seen stuff first hand down there after Katrina hit.. it was an eye opening experience.

Speaking of Port Arthur.. I'm so glad it got spared technically speaking.. whenever you have any damage it's already too much IMO, but Arthur could've been hit much harder then it was if Rita hadn't signifgantly weakened upon making landfall.. a miracle, and thankfully the death toll was minimal as well - although we know 1 death is one too many.

    Done.
Before you insult a man, walk a mile in his shoes. That way, when you insult him, you'll be a mile away, and have his shoes.

I have a family that I grew very close to while I was in Texas who lived in Vidor, Texas (a little north of Port Arthur) that had to evacuate their home. He is a firefighter in Beaumont and had to stay behind. So the Mother took her three kids left their home and went to Nacadocheous. They were welcomed into a church that had opened for evacuees until Saturday when their power went out.

They since have gotten to Dallas to stay at a relative's. They have nothing but the clothes on their back. They have no money because they banked with the local credit union. She has no job for the time being and her husband as of Sunday Morning had worked 72 hours straight in Beaumont trying to clean up the mess that was left behind.

I watched an article here http://www.khou.com/index.html?fw=ht....2a3b7a6a.html about people in Liberty County (Again somewhere I lived) that are in desparate need of baby food and diapers etc....

I guess this is the first real time in my life where someone I know and love has been touched by a disaster...It is scary when something like this happens and there is no way to reach the people you care about...There phone is out and they still have no electricity....It has made me think of what I can do to help....

The most important thing though, is that they're alive.

Hey, I believe you. But then I'm pretty gullible. I believed that:

    Numberz is 16
That KC could hit me with one of his balls
That the Esks could mount a running game
    and that Delorean is Asian

I think all of those are true so I do believe you.

Yeah, but I also believed the missus when she promised me a life of sunshine, lollypops and never-ending sex.
